I've been doing quite well in terms of gym motivation recently, but haven't played badminton for a couple of weeks, or so. I've signed up for classes again this year, so they start later this month, which should be good.

At the gym, I am trying to make more of an effort to push past what I tell myself is my limits, as I know from experience with my personal trainer that they are never my actual limits! It's actually quite difficult to grasp quite how much of being active is mental - I have to try to keep motivated to get out there in the first place, and then when I'm doing something I have to really push past the inner voices that want to give up.

So, good things... I've upped my regular rowing aspect in the gym to 2km, and am now concentrating on lowering the time it takes me to complete. My current PB is 9:16. It can definitely get better, and I'm enjoying beating PBs on a regular basis. Enjoying!! Ha!! Check me out, 'enjoying' sport. *falls over from laughing*

My Moonwalk training will begin shortly. I feel I want to devote a lot more effort to this than I did 3 years ago, where I was under-prepared, and unfit, and dropped out after 8 miles. So I want to get a lot more walking into my life. I've treated myself to a GPS watch, so that I can go out walking without planning routes, and keep an accurate record of distances, and times. The challenge of it all is quite exciting. Exciting!! Ha!! Check me out, finding sport 'exciting'. *falls over from laughing again*

Aaaand, I'm definitely going to write here more. I keep saying that, but I mean it. x x
